Staff
Kipp Dye, MSPT
Kipp Dye is a well-known Boston-based physical therapist who previously managed Charles River Sports Therapy, Boston, Inc. Kipp graduated with a Master of Science degree from Simmons College (1996) and obtained his undergraduate education from the University of California at Berkeley (1986). Kipp is an accomplished competitive swimmer: a high school and NCAA Division I All-American, and a gold medalist in the 50 Meter Backstroke at the 1998 Nike World Masters Games. Kipp understands those who have orthopedic conditions such as arthritis, sports injuries, and post-surgical conditions. His areas of specialty are foot and ankle, shoulder, and knee conditions. Also, Kipp is an inventor of the Textured foam roller (www.thera-roll.com) and Aquafit water therapy and fitness product line.
Sawyer Stapp, PT, DPT – Clinic Manager
Sawyer graduated with his doctorate in Physical Therapy from Mount Saint Mary’s University in Los Angeles in 2023 then moved to Bostonwith his wife and pets. Sawyer specializes in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, manual therapy techniques, patient assessment anddiagnosis, individualized treatment planning, and rehabilitation equipment proficiency.
For all patients he will implement tailored treatment plans that optimize recovery and mobility outcomes. In addition, drawing on his background as a former collegiate football player, Sawyer brings an experienced perspective to injury rehab and performance training for high school athletes. Away from the office Sawyer likes traveling, trying new restaurants, and hanging out with his wife and dogs.
Ryyan Akhtar, PTA
Ryyan, a Midwest native now proudly based in New England, is a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant with a strong background in strength and conditioning. He utilizes a comprehensive, multi-joint approach to address the kinetic chain and optimize whole-body function. Ryyan is passionate about empowering individuals to return to the activities they love. In his free time, he enjoys weightlifting, running, skiing, and exploring the trails and slopes of New England.
Emily Bonfiglio, Patient Care Coordinator
Emily has more than 25 years of healthcare experience, including 18 years as a physical therapy assistant and many years as an Office Manager for outpatient Physical therapy clinics. As Patient Care Coordinator she ensures that every patient feels welcomed and cared for from the first phone call to the last visit. Her experience as a Physical Therapy assistant gives her a full understanding of the patient’s journey through the rehabilitation process. Emily enjoys spending time with her family and watching her two boys in all their sporting activities.
